Cruising
Emily and I just got back from our cruise. It was awesome to rest and enjoy good weather, but we are also excited to be back home. This is random, but the biggest thing we gained from our vacation was reading Dave Ramsey’s “Total Money Makeover” book. People always said this book would literally change your life and the way you think about money. After reading the book I couldn’t agree more. The coolest part is that he really just takes what the Bible says about money and applies to our lives today. It will really open your eyes to the true way to have financial freedom. This is the central idea behind the book: “live like no one else, so later you can live like no one else.” I’m actually very pumped about living below my means to handle money the way God said we should.
Valentine’s Day
Honestly I think valentine’s day is the stupidest holiday ever, but this morning I woke up and after the weather man reminded me it was valentine’s day I just felt so lucky to be married to my wife Emily. She is the most amazing, godly, hilarious, and on top of all that beautiful girl ever. Every day I wonder why this amazingly beautiful girl would want to be with me, but I’m not complaining. Again, God reminds me of his unbelievable grace to give me a wife this incredible. I love her so much and could not be more blessed.

Finally
Alright so I’ve finally caught up with the rest of the church planting world and decided to blog. I am the Worship Pastor at Freedom Church in Acworth, Ga. It is an amazing job and being part of God’s vision for Freedom Church and the city of Acworth is indescribable. We have already been able to impact tons of lives and this is just the beginning. I feel so blessed that God has called me to stand before His people every week and lead them in worship. Here are the set lists since our launch: January 27:
