Here are some pictures of last sundays worship experience. All of our set designs are built by our very own incredible set design team. They work their tails off and don’t get near enough credit. Thank you Brandon and Jason for all that you do!
Old Time Religion:: Honor
Sunday’s worship experience cannot be explained in words. The Holy Spirit was moving, lives were changed, and people wanted more. We kicked off the brand new “Old Time Religion” series. To celebrate the series we brought in a gospel choir. Again, no words. The energy was off the scale at Freedom Church. Pictures and possibly even a video or two will be coming real soon.
There’s no mistaking that Sunday was HUGE, but we have not arrived. The things happening at Freedom Church right now can only be explained by God. We’re keeping our foot on the accelerator because there are way too many people who are far from God in Acworth, Georgia. If you think Sunday was great, just wait till you see what God is going to do next.

Worship Set
This sunday I got to experience Freedom like never before. I got a glimpse of the way Freedom Church looks, sounds, and feels from the audience. In the past when I haven’t led, I’ve been on vacation. This time I took the sunday off and was able to evaluate by being there. Tyler Orr led the whole morning and did a phenomenal job. The worship was incredible and it was so refreshing to worship with our people. I believe that it is important for every worship leader to experience that. It will also better the church so that you can evaluate and see things you wouldn’t ordinarily see.
I sat there in the crowd and was speechless as I looked up and saw Freedom Church happening. God overwhelmed me with how far we have come in an incredibly short amount of time. And still…… the best is yet to come. Trust me!

When sunday mornings are over I love reading the buzz on twitter. It’s so incredible to read the excitement people are sharing with their own networks about Freedom Church and the way God is moving in their lives and the lives of others. I copied just a few of the Freedom twitters after one of our worship experiences a few weeks ago. Notice the excitement has nothing to do with a band or stage design, but the presence of God moving! Here is a glimpse of the things people are saying:
