We finished up the Old Time Religion series this sunday in very relevant fashion. A little bluegrass “I’ll Fly Away.” We have seen God do a powerful work throughout this series that has created tremendous momentum. This momentum is going to carry on to the anticipated “Block Party” series where we’ll get a chance to really reach people far from God. It’s gonna be awesome!

Just returned from the studio where we went through all the Freedom songs and selected the 10 that will be on the album. I’m so pumped about our selections and can’t wait to hit the studio in less than 3 weeks to see the vision of Freedom Church come alive through music. Please join us in praying God-sized prayers for this album. That it would be used to reach those far from God so they would be filled with life in Christ! 35+ got out of their seats, walked to the front of the auditorium, and publicly accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior on Sunday morning. There is nothing in this world that pumps me up more than that. Needless to say, Sunday was a party!

Here are some pictures of last sundays worship experience. All of our set designs are built by our very own incredible set design team. They work their tails off and don’t get near enough credit. Thank you Brandon and Jason for all that you do!

Sunday’s worship experience cannot be explained in words. The Holy Spirit was moving, lives were changed, and people wanted more. We kicked off the brand new “Old Time Religion” series. To celebrate the series we brought in a gospel choir. Again, no words. The energy was off the scale at Freedom Church. Pictures and possibly even a video or two will be coming real soon.

There’s no mistaking that Sunday was HUGE, but we have not arrived. The things happening at Freedom Church right now can only be explained by God. We’re keeping our foot on the accelerator because there are way too many people who are far from God in Acworth, Georgia. If you think Sunday was great, just wait till you see what God is going to do next.
